Sarah M. Axelson, MSW

Sarah has nearly 15 years of experience as an educator, trainer, and facilitator. She is deeply passionate about the science of learning and has built her career around educating professionals to deliver the highest quality learning experiences for students, professionals, and community members. Her career has spanned higher education, national non-profit organizations, and the federal government. She has served as a Lecturer for The George Washington University Milken Institute School of Public Health, receiving awards and accolades for her teaching. While working for the federal government, she conceptualized and implemented training and professional development for staff from over 150 diverse government agencies and local organizations. Sarah holds a Master’s Degree in Social Work and Certificate in Nonprofit Leadership from the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill and is currently pursuing a Doctorate in Public Health at The George Washington University Milken Institute School of Public Health. When she isn’t working or teaching, you can find her volunteering, daydreaming about new teaching/training tools and products, or walking her dog Maddie with her partner.
